Resort Chambers of Commerce Coalition (RCCC) – 2026 Advocacy Priorities

The Fernie Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a member of the Resort Chambers of Commerce Coalition (RCCC), a collaborative network of chambers representing resort, mountain, and tourism-based communities across British Columbia and Alberta.

In 2025, the RCCC was formed to amplify the voice of resort-based businesses and strengthen partnerships that support economic growth in resort communities. The coalition’s first joint action was submitting a policy resolution to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce addressing immigration and workforce challenges in resort communities, with a focus on strengthening the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and supporting the long-term vitality of Canada’s resort towns.
