WEEKEND LONG CELEBRATIONS

The Fernie Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring you a fun-filled evening to kickoff the holiday season and get your shop-on, locally!

Join us in celebrating our vibrant community while enjoying the festivities and keeping holiday dollars local!

The main festivities, including carols, fireworks, and more, will light up the town on Saturday, December 5.

From Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6, spend a minimum of $20 at a participating Fernie business and enter to WIN $1000 to a #SpendItInFernie participating business of your choice!

Each receipt (from December 4 – December 6, 2026, minimum $20, at a participating business) can be entered into the draw!

Winners will be announced Monday, December 7 at 12:00 pm.

Must have receipts to claim prize.

Contest entry closes Sunday, December 6 at 11:59pm.

2nd Ave (between Beanpod – 691 2nd Ave and Ski Base – 432 2nd Ave)

⛔Closed Saturday, December 5, from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

6^th Street between 1^st Avenue and 2^nd Avenue (including entrance to the alleyway)

⛔Closed Saturday, December 5 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 PM

1^st Avenue from 6^th Street to 5^th Street (The Arts Station to the Royal)

⛔Closed Saturday, December 5 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM after the fireworks

Parking Lot on 1^st Ave across from Arts Station

⛔Closed Saturday, December 5, 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Please advise your staff, tenants, and anyone else affected by these closures. Any vehicles parked in the above-noted areas during the closures will be towed at the owner’s expense.
