Dr. Karley Denoon is the founder and Medical Director of Wild Heart Therapies & Farmacy in Fernie, BC. She started her clinic in 2012 in an upstairs location in Fernie’s historic downtown, and in October 2018 made the move to her current larger space along Highway 3. It is an impressive and inviting facility with room to grow the operation.

As Dr. Denoon states, “People may not know how many modalities we offer at our clinic. We offer naturopathic medicine, botanical and herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutraceutical prescribing, IV therapy, pain injections, pharmaceutical prescribing, nutrition, health and life coaching, genetic assessments, neuromovement therapy, and soon will be offering massage!” Wild Heart Therapies & Farmacy currently has a staff of six trained professionals, with the team soon to be expanding to over eight.

When asked why she decided to start a business in Fernie, Dr. Denoon points out that the active lifestyle of many in this town lends itself to taking care of our bodies. “Fernie people hunt, adventure, and play in our community with voracious energy and they also know they need their health to do so. Wild Heart Therapies & Farmacy is in the business of preventative health – working to keep people healthy, and reverse and reduce chronic disease.”

Dr. Denoon’s greatest success in operating the business is “serving the Fernie community and seeing families and individual’s health improve over the years.”
