Are you passionate about the Fernie business community? Do you love bringing people together through impactful events? We’re looking for a Membership Engagement & Event Manager to join us!
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the heart of our member relations—from organizing the Business Excellence Awards and our Chamber Golf Tournament to keeping our local network inspired through our digital channels.
What You’ll Be Doing: You will be the primary point of contact for our members while bringing our signature community events to life. It’s a mix of strategic planning, event logistics, and marketing.
- Community Connection: Act as the primary point of contact for the Chamber, managing member recruitment, renewals, and professional development workshops.
- Event Leadership: Take ownership of our signature events, including the Business Excellence Awards, the Chamber Golf Tournament, and our Banter, Business & Beer mixers.
- Logistics & Strategy: Handle everything from budgeting, event promotion and vendor negotiations to securing sponsorships and post-event analysis.
- Communications: Keep our network inspired by creating content and managing our social media, website updates, and bi-weekly newsletters.
