Fernie Chamber Announces Winners for the 2025 Business Excellence Awards
Fernie, BC – October 17, 2025 – The 2025 Fernie Business Excellence Awards were held last night at the Cirque Restaurant and Bar. The sold-out event brought together the Fernie community to celebrate the exceptional businesses, organizations, and individuals that make this town thrive. The evening was hosted by local Emcee Mike Wrigglesworth, whose energy and charm set the perfect tone for the celebration. Opening remarks were delivered by Mayor Nic Milligan and Chamber Chair Antony McElwee, followed by the awards ceremony recognizing this year’s outstanding recipients.
This year’s theme, “Rooted Resilience: Growing Stronger Together,” highlights the strength, growth, and collaboration that come from deep community connections. The awards celebrate the grit, innovation, and meaningful contributions of those who continue to shape Fernie into a vibrant and resilient community.
Executive Director Wendy McDougall shared her excitement about the evening:
