2025 Fernie Business Excellence Awards – Save the Date and Nominate
The Fernie Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the 2025 Fernie Business Excellence Awards, taking place on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Cirque Restaurant and Bar.
This year’s theme, “Rooted Resilience: Growing Stronger Together,” honours the strength and growth that come from deep community connections. It’s a celebration of the grit, achievements, and meaningful contributions of the individuals, businesses, and organizations that make Fernie more powerful, more connected, and more grounded.
“At the Fernie Chamber of Commerce, we acknowledge that local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community groups dedicate their time to growing their businesses, creating jobs, innovating, building community, and making Fernie an excellent place to work, live, and play,” says Wendy McDougall, Executive Director of the Fernie Chamber. “The Business Excellence Awards are our chance to celebrate that dedication and recognize those who go above and beyond.”
Nominations are ongoing! From now until August 24 at 11:59 p.m., residents are encouraged to nominate businesses, entrepreneurs, and community groups who exemplify excellence in their field and contribute to making Fernie an exceptional place to work, live, and play.
Nominations are easy:

- Cast your nominations in one or every category.
- Tell your friends to nominate too!
Selection Process:
After the nomination period closes, all nominees will be contacted by the Fernie Chamber and asked to complete a Nominee Form. This form will provide the information needed for an independent judging panel to determine the finalists and winners in each category.
